Cisco TelePresence Portfolio
The Cisco TelePresence solution comprehensively includes a portfolio of Cisco TelePresence endpoints, management software, multipoint switching capabilities for scaling to support large meetings, interoperability with other collaboration applications, like Unified Communications, Cisco WebExTM and video conferencing, secure intercompany solutions and a network of public Cisco TelePresence suite locations. In addition, specialized applications such as Cisco TelePresence Expert on Demand and Cisco TelePresence Recording Studio take Cisco TelePresence experience beyond business meetings for new face-to-face interactions and transactions. The Cisco TelePresence System 500 (Figure 1) is a single-screen system designed for one or two users in a private office. It supports intimate, remote one-on-one meetings as well as participation in large, multipoint Cisco TelePresence meetings.
The Cisco TelePresence System 1000 (Figure 2) is a single-screen system designed for small group meetings or one-on-one meetings. You can install this system as a free-standing unit in a variety of environments, such as offices or general-purpose conference rooms. It also includes innovations that reduce bandwidth requirements for remote offices or telecommuter applications.
