McAfee VirusScan Enterprise Plus Installation Packages Anti-Spyware is one way of protecting a computer from the inside. Unlike the older version of McAfee, this version will help against 1. Install McAfee There are two installation packages for McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.0 Plus Spyware customized for Towson University; a TU-owned pc 3. Checking the Version version (work package) and a home pc version (home package). 1st Time Home Install Work Package Settings All Towson University owned computers will have the McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.0 software installed automatically onto their machines. You do not need to do anything. This install will happen in the background. To check if you have the new version in- stalled please refer to the section of this of this document titled Checking the Version. Home Package Downloading: 1. Connect to the Internet and open your Web browser. 2. Type, or copy and paste, the following Figure 1 URL in the Address bar: http://www.towson.edu/ots. 3. Click on Services for Faculty and Staff (Figure 1, 1). 4. Click on Support, Training & Documentation. 5. Click on Software Downloads. 1 6. Click on For Faculty, Staff and Students. 7. The Towson University Authenticated Login webpage will open. Type in your TowsonU Username and Password. 8.
