III. Essay guidelines Essays must be no fewer than 500 and no more than 1,000 words in Win a length, and must be typewritten, 12-point font and double-spaced. APHA will only accept one entry per student. Essays must be original and $500 solely the work of the entrant. All entries become the property of APHA and will not be returned. scholarship IV.
